Families Matter Project
Now Open in Salem Hospital Building A
The Families Matter Project provides spaces for respite and reflection with the creation of a new chapel, outdoor garden and family gathering areas inside Building A on the Salem Hospital campus. The Project also provides improved access to and visibility to the Emergency Room drop off area.
The Project delivers an all-faiths chapel, and a reflection garden with sheltered, semi-private outdoor spaces. These new amenities are adjacent to the Emergency Room and are thoughtfully designed to be accessible 24 hours a day for all patients and families in need of quiet and introspection on the Salem Hospital campus.
We are happy to have the Families Matter Project open to the public. Thanks to the generous support of our donors, this project will serve our community for the next 50 years.
