Impact Report 2019-2020
We are very pleased to share with you The Salem Health Foundation’s 2019-2020 impact report. This report is a snapshot review of the generosity you have shown and the good works you enabled the foundation to direct.
This has been a year to remember. We have faced the challenge of embracing immediate and sometimes jarring change in our routine and our relationships. As you know, not everyone has weathered this easily or equitably. Our community members with difficulties were more substantially impacted by this past year’s events than you might imagine.
We’ve titled this impact report, “Pivoting for the health of our community.” Inside, you will learn how we responded to COVID-19 urgent needs. You will see examples of how together we supported health care workers, including support for our front line First Responders. You will see that we continue to address the needs of those suffering and those most vulnerable. We believe as you read through the pages, you will see good news about how your support to the Salem Health Foundation has made an immediate and useful impact.
